Chair Yoga for Strength & Mobility: All Levels Welcome
Experience a 60 minute, gentle and accessible 6-week Chair Yoga Series for anyone with mobility challenges. This program is designed to improve mobility, balance, and flexibility through supportive seated and standing movements.
Participants of all levels are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, two yoga blocks, and a yoga strap (or belt) to enhance comfort and stability throughout the practice. Please wear comfortable clothing so you can move with ease and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during class.
Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to move confidently through gentle, chair supported basic yoga flows. They will learn foundational breath work techniques and sequences that encourage relaxation and improve circulation. Students will also gain the skills to modify poses using a chair, blocks, and a strap so they can continue a safe, accessible home practice that meets their individual needs.
Meet your Instructor: Jennifer Worhle
Jennifer is a certified yoga teacher who has been guiding students of all ages and mobility levels since 2018. She specializes in Chair Yoga, Vinyasa, Yin, Qigong-infused movement, and accessible practices designed especially for seniors, caregivers, and veterans.
Her teaching journey has taken her into senior centers, assisted-living communities, wellness events, and private group and one-on-one sessions—always with the same intention: to make yoga feel welcoming, doable, and uplifting for every body.
Jennifer is also trained in trauma-informed yoga and is a Reiki Practitioner. She weaves these modalities into her classes through mindful movement, breathwork, and gentle strength-building, creating supportive spaces where students can move with confidence and reconnect with their own inner steadiness.
Her classes are warm, encouraging, and infused with a sense of ease—meeting each student exactly where they are and helping them feel a little lighter, stronger, and more at home in themselves.
