2026 Woodbury's Earth Day Celebration Eco-Warrior Award: Nominations
The Eco-Warrior Award was established to recognize individuals making a meaningful impact on environmental stewardship in our community. The inaugural award was presented at Woodbury Earth Day 2024 to John Pittari of New Morning Market, for his dedication to sustainable practices and local environmental initiatives and for starting this annual Earth Day celebration more than 30 years ago. In 2025, the award honored Carol Haskins of the Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition for her outstanding work protecting and preserving our local waterways.
